President and CEO's Comment

"Stable performance supported by technical momentum"

The company stated that organic sales growth in the third quarter was 3%, and this figure already takes into account the impact of the closure of SCIS government-related business. The technology and security business units in North America achieved solid growth, while a decline in airport business activities hindered organic sales growth in Europe.

In the third quarter, the actual sales growth of its Technology and Solutions business was 6%. The company stated that the commercial momentum of its global technology business remains strong, with installation orders intake and outstanding orders continuing to grow, among which installation orders in North America and Iberian America intake reached record highs. The proportion of the Technology and Solutions business increased to 35% (from 33%), reflecting the progress in implementing the company's strategic direction. The company noted that this development is attributed to its differentiated, technology-driven products and services, and it continues to expand the commercialization of the capabilities already established within the group.

The company stated that its security services continue to be well-received in customer segments such as data centers, national defense, and pharmaceuticals. In these areas, long-term partnerships and high-quality security services are increasingly valued. However, in certain markets and customer segments, the demand trend remains more cautious, leading to more selective purchasing behavior and longer decision-making cycles. The company mentioned that it effectively responded to this dynamic in North America, but the market environment in Europe and some countries in Iberian America is still more fragmented, which affected revenue growth in the third quarter.

The adjusted operating profit margin for the third quarter was 8.2% (8.3%), which was supported by continued strong performance in North America. The operating profit margins in Europe and Iberia-America were lower than the strong levels seen in the third quarter of last year. The company stated that this was mainly due to the airport security business in Europe, which had a negative impact of -0.2 percentage points on the group's adjusted operating profit margin in the third quarter. Operating profit remained flat compared to last year. In the first nine months of 2026, earnings per share increased by 6%.

The company stated that its cash generation capacity remains strong, with the cash flow from operating activities in the third quarter accounting for 82% (106%) of pre-operating expenses and amortization profits, compared to 71% (74%) in the first nine months. The company believes it still has a solid foundation to achieve its annual cash flow target of 80% to 90% of pre-operating expenses and amortization profits. The net debt/_EBITDA ratio is 2.1 (2.2).

Become a trusted partner in the field of "intelligent-driven security"

The company stated that since the release of its strategy this summer, management has met with customers across three continents. Customer feedback has been very positive, and both current and potential customers recognize the company's value as a trustworthy partner in the field of "intelligently driven security." Customers appreciate the company's emphasis on quality, as well as its approach of combining high-quality security services with technology, data, analytics, and security risk management capabilities in a more dynamic and intelligence-driven manner. Although this represents a shift from existing industry practices, the market has shown strong support for this direction. Customers increasingly recognize the ability of Securitas to create greater value by utilizing artificial intelligence, automation, and actionable risk intelligence, and the company has also begun to see early signs of a shift in purchasing behavior towards "intelligently driven security."

The company stated that, as part of the final phase of the strategic assessment project, it is expected to exit the last remaining contracts in the SCIS government business by the end of October.

Create long-term shareholder value

The company stated that with the launch of its 2030 strategy, the group has updated its financial targets, including achieving an average annual growth of 10% in earnings per share over a business cycle. The company claims that, with a clear focus on quality, innovation, and disciplined execution, it is accelerating its transformation and remains confident in its ability to achieve sustainable profit growth and create long-term shareholder value.
