Jersey City, New Jersey, October 15 (Reuters/ PR Newswire ) – The world-leading investment and trading platform Moomoo has opened registration and trading for its third annual Global Simulated Trading Competition, marking the third consecutive year that it has been collaborating with Nasdaq TotalView ® to promote investor education.

As part of Moomoo's long-term commitment to helping investors build practical market knowledge, this year's competition is themed " Real Market , Real Edge ". Participants can use the simulated trading features of Moomoo and the professional-level market data of Nasdaq to test their strategies under real market conditions, while avoiding any risk of losing real funds. They will also join over 31 million investors worldwide in a vibrant, community-driven competition and exchange.

This competition will last from October 12th to November 20th (Eastern Time of the United States) and introduces AI Companions for the first time. Participants can choose from four different types of AI assistants based on their own investment philosophies and strategies: Steady Explorer, Sector Navigator, Short-term, Sniper, and Quant Trader. Investors from the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region are all eligible to participate, competing for a portion of $200,000 in trading vouchers while also gaining practical experience with professional investment resources.

Experience the real market with Nasdaq TotalView ®

Reflecting the common commitment of Moomoo and Nasdaq in investor education, all participants will receive one month of free usage of Nasdaq TotalView ®. Nasdaq TotalView ® is Nasdaq's comprehensive deep order book market data stream. By providing more detailed order placement and market activity views, TotalView ® helps participants gain a deeper understanding of the market, better comprehend market dynamics, and use professional-level market data to evaluate trading strategies.

Throughout the entire competition, participants will be provided with $100,000 in virtual funds to trade U.S. stocks, ETF, and options during pre-market, regular trading hours, and post-market trading sessions. Participants can test their ideas and evaluate their strategies without taking any real financial risk, and gain practical trading experience in an environment that closely mimics the real market.

Introducing AI Companions: A new dimension in transaction research

This year's competition has added a new innovative feature – AI Companions – which provides additional research support for the simulated trading experience. Participants can choose from four types of AI assistants, each with a different focus: Steady Explorer focuses on fundamental value and long-term growth, Sector Navigator focuses on emerging sectors and key catalysts, Short-term and Sniper focus on technical indicators and short-term price fluctuations, while Quant Trader emphasizes quantitative models and algorithmic trading.

These AI Companions provide research support around the clock, whether participants are studying earnings-driven fluctuations, exploring sector themes, analyzing charts, or evaluating trading logic. Each assistant presents market information and analysis from their own perspective, helping participants to ask more precise questions, consider different angles, and make the research process more organized. Combined with the professional trading tools of Nasdaq TotalView ® and Moomoo, AI Companions creates a more integrated environment for exploring investment ideas, testing strategies, and learning from real market activities.

A reward of $200,000, as well as the opportunity to appear on Times Square in Manhattan Nasdaq Tower

Contestants can compete for a portion of a $200,000 trading voucher, and those who perform outstandingly may also gain global recognition for their market insights and competition results. The top three globally, as well as the champions of each region, will receive exclusive Moomoo x Nasdaq trophies; the top ten in each region will receive Moomoo x Nasdaq certificates.

Some of the selected participants will also have the opportunity to appear on the Nasdaq Tower in New York's Times Square. The selection will be based on their final performance in the competition and their contributions to the Moomoo community. Their investment journey and achievements may be displayed on one of the most iconic digital billboards in the world.

Moomoo US CEO Neil McDonald stated: "Simulated trading allows investors to put their ideas into practice, understand how the market reacts, and refine their strategies without risking real capital. This year's competition combines Nasdaq market data, Moomoo professional trading tools, and AI research support to provide participants with more opportunities to learn through practice.
