Fremont, California, October 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Power management and intelligent green solutions company Delta Electronics ( Delta Electronics ) stated that it will be highlighting at OCP Global Summit 2026 how its collaboration with NVIDIA (NVIDIA) is accelerating the development of NVIDIA 800 VDC power supply and cooling solutions for increasingly dense AI factories.

NVIDIA 800 VDC MGX compatible power racks can help existing data centers enhance AI computing performance and power density, and provide an upgrade path for future AI infrastructure. In conjunction with the event held on October 14th, Delta Electronics showcased its next-generation high-energy-efficiency solutions for factories based on the 800 VDC architecture, including 800 VDC rack systems with 660 kilowatts of inter-row power capacity, as well as new 800 VDC liquid-to-liquid cooling distribution units ( CDU ) with a maximum cooling capacity of up to 2.5 megawatts, suitable for NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 and other NVIDIA MGX racks.

NVIDIA MGX is a modular reference architecture designed for accelerated computing, aimed at helping system manufacturers to design future-compatible systems more quickly, reduce costs, shorten time to market, and improve return on investment.

Damei's Power and Electronics Business Unit Executive Vice President Ted Shyy stated on NVIDIA AI Factory MGX Ecosystem Ceremony: "Expanding AI requires the simultaneous evolution of power supply and cooling infrastructure with computing platforms. Our collaboration with NVIDIA helps to align Damei's expertise in power and thermal management with the infrastructure requirements of the next generation of AI. At the OCP conference, we discussed how 800 VDC power supply and integrated cooling solutions can help customers improve efficiency and support increasingly dense AI systems."

Promoting efficient power supply from facilities to racks, targeting the NVIDIA MGX platform

Dame Electronics demonstrated its solid-state transformer ( SST ), which is capable of directly converting medium-voltage alternating current into 800 VDC without the need for intermediate conversion steps. Subsequently, Dame's high-voltage DC distribution panel ( HVDC PDB ) can convert 800 VDC or ±400 VDC into 54 VDC and 12 VDC to power the AI servers. This PDB achieves a conversion efficiency of up to 98% at a power density of 1,000 W/ in³ and comes with built-in hot-swappable capabilities to support reliable operation. Dame stated that by combining these technologies, it is possible to simplify the power conversion from the grid to the chips and reduce energy losses to meet the power supply requirements of the next generation of AI.

In terms of high-capacity power supply, Delta highlighted its latest 800-kilowatt power distribution racks designed for NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 and other MGX racks. Each of the six 7RU power modules consists of a 3RU, 110-kilowatt power layer rack and a 4RU, 80-kilowatt battery backup unit (BBU), with a total output power of 660 kilowatts and a backup capacity of 480 kilowatts. Subsequently, a 90-kilowatt DC / DC power layer rack can convert this 800-kilowatt power to 50V, with a conversion efficiency of up to 98.5%.

Integrate power supply and cooling for the next generation of AI infrastructure

Dame also showcased its 5,000A liquid-cooled busbars for its third-generation MGX racks, which combine high-current power distribution with liquid cooling to manage heat within the power supply system. Its NVIDIA MGX racks and manifolds support the heat dissipation of high-density Vera Rubin platforms, while its DC busbars ( DC Busway ) provide efficient power distribution for the upcoming 800 VDC architecture. Dame claims that its power architecture supports intelligent power smoothing ( IPS ) with up to 98% efficiency, and offers a variety of configurations, including a compact 800-kilowatt inter-row power supply solution without BBU , as well as a 660-kilowatt inter-row power supply system integrated with BBU to meet different deployment requirements.

Dame's thermal management product portfolio supports heat dissipation from the column level to the chip level in data centers based on 800 VDC AI. Key products include the new 800 VDC 2.5-megawatt liquid-to-liquid cooling distribution unit, as well as a new type of cold plate designed for NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72.

This L2L CDU is equipped with 3 hot-swappable pumps to achieve a zero-downtime goal – each pump integrates a converter and control module. The combined flow rate of the 3 pumps (3+0) can reach up to 3,850 liters per minute, and it provides a pressure of 60 psi at the working point. This micro-channel cold plate combines a micro-channel structure with a multiple-impulse flow design to enhance heat transfer and reduce flow resistance. Passive flow control and advanced metal bonding processes support higher heat dissipation capabilities and reliability.

Delta Air Lines stated that these cooling solutions collectively address the evolving thermal management requirements of the next generation of AI infrastructure.

Sharing experience in the next-generation AI power supply and cooling architecture

Delta also delivered a speech on October 12th titled “Delta 800 VDC Power and Cooling Solutions for Data Centers”. This executive event was participated in by Ralf Pieper, the R&D Director of Delta Electronics' Custom Design Division, and Mike Tu, the Chief Electrical Engineer at NVIDIA. The discussion covered Delta's 800 VDC power architecture, rack-level power supply, and liquid cooling solutions, with a focus on efficient, reliable, and scalable AI infrastructure.

The U.S. sues California for verifying citizens' identities on mailed ballots
The U.S. federal government sued California on Thursday, requesting that the counting of mailed ballots, which the federal government has identified as "possibly non-citizens," be postponed until the citizenship of the voters can be confirmed in the upcoming federal elections. California Secretary of State Shirley Weber responded that the Department of Justice did not provide sufficient evidence or legal basis, and such a request would only create chaos and undermine public trust in the elections.
