Seeker The application will log in to one of the most well-known brands in the self-hosted domain.

Solana Mobile has secured its first hardware expansion partner, and that partner is one of the most well-known brands in the field of encryption security. The hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger stated that it will launch new devices Ledger Atom pre-installed with the Seeker application. Ledger claims that its hardware wallets have a usage rate of over 30% among retail holders of encrypted assets.

This collaboration was announced on-site at the 2026 Paris Ledger Op3n conference. Both parties will Solana integrate dApp stores and wallets into a single Seeker application, which will be directly built into the new flagship devices of Ledger.

For this team that initially challenged the mobile duopoly with just one smartphone, Seeker's first hardware expansion is the clearest proof that Solana Mobile Stack is ready to target a broader market.

Ledger releases Atom, leveraging the new Seeker application

The latest product launched by this self-hosted giant, Ledger Atom, is a security and privacy device built on top of the Android open-source project ( AOSP ). It utilizes secure components (EAL6+) for its internal operations (Ledger OS), and the device's display and touch controls are physically isolated from the Android operating system.

Atom Users will also receive a complete Solana dApp store on the first day of the device's release, which contains over 1500 dApp, covering multiple areas such as trading, payment, gaming, AI, etc. Few distribution channels can reach the most active users like the Seeker app. By integrating it into Atom, Ledger gains direct access to the most active ecosystem in the crypto industry, potentially presenting the complete Solana dApp store to millions of new users.

Ledger Chief Human Agency Official Ian Rogers says: "An outstanding experience comes from a team that focuses on details, and Solana Mobile is such a team. Seeker makes self-hosting on mobile devices natural. Ledger Atom To start with Seeker applications from day one is very reasonable; this way, Ledger users can access the Solana ecosystem without sacrificing any security at all."

At the same time, the devices that Seeker users are familiar with and love remain the core pillars of the Solana Mobile ecosystem. In the coming months, there will be more announcements to drive the growth and expansion of $SKR and its decentralized economy.

Every signature and authorization in the application will be conducted under the security mode of Ledger Atom, and will be supported by security components and Ledger OS. Whenever a user initiates an operation that Ledger deems to be "sensitive," such as signing a transaction, Atom will activate the security mode, disabling any potential risk factors on the device, such as the microphone and screen reader.

In response to recent concerns, Ledger is strengthening physical security measures before its listing on Atom, introducing advanced anti-tampering and anti-tampering visualization solutions from packaging to the device itself. To alleviate concerns regarding the supply chain, Ledger Atom will only be sold directly through the official website of Ledger.

In addition to the cooperation with Solana Mobile, Ledger has also clearly stated that Solana is at the top of its priorities.

In an exclusive interview with SolanaFloor, Solana executive vice president Jean-Fran ç ois Rochet stated that Solana is one of the main venues for tokenization, stablecoin payments, and agentic activities in the cryptocurrency field.

Historically speaking, I believe that our collaboration with the entire Solana ecosystem has been more profound. This is evident as it is one of the main hubs for tokenization, payments, and many other fields, despite having gained a lot of reputation over the past few years. Therefore, we are establishing even deeper cooperation... And all of us have a very strong commitment to Solana. —– Executive Vice President of Ledger, Jean-Fran ç ois Rochet

Ledger Atom is only available for direct purchase through the official website of Ledger. Reservations are now open, and the website address is ledger.com / seeker. Delivery is currently scheduled for the summer of 2027.

What does the first hardware expansion of Solana Mobile to Seeker mean economically?

Before today, Solana Seeker and its more than 1,500 applications were, to a large extent, just an ecosystem within an ecosystem. Although the global sales volume have exceeded 200,000 units, the current user base of Seeker is mainly composed of heavy users of Solana. Ledger Atom has expanded this reach, opening a new entry point for millions of hardware wallet users around the world to enter the Seeker ecosystem.

Seeker The ecosystem has currently processed over $13 billion in transaction volume, with a cumulative number of transactions exceeding 154 million. Ledger's distribution capabilities may bring these initiatives to a wider audience, many of whom may have never been exposed to Solana's native applications before. By introducing new users to Seeker and Solana, Ledger's global customer base will be able to directly access services such as Seeker's $USDC Earn Vault, which may also drive the value of $SKR.

In an exclusive interview with SolanaFloor, Solana Mobile General Manager Emmett Hollyer stated that this expansion has strengthened the economies of both parties involved in Seeker.

So far, if you want to participate in these more than 1,500 applications and the $13 billion in transaction volume that has been generated, you must go through Saga or Seeker. Now, with the addition of Ledger Atom, there's another entry point. On the developer side, you can not only reach the more than 200,000 Solana Mobile devices that have already been sold, but also access a brand new batch of devices and users that are shipped along with Ledger. —– Solana Mobile General Manager Emmett Hollyer

For emerging application developers and entrepreneurs, Solana dApp stores have a clear economic advantage over the existing smartphone duopoly. Traditional app stores take up to 30% of each transaction as commission and may directly restrict encryption features, whereas Solana dApp stores promise faster review cycles and exposure opportunities for the most active user groups in the crypto community.

Many developers have stated that after launching their applications on Seeker, they are able to acquire hundreds of verified real users within just a few days.

Solana Labs, Co-Founder and CEO, stated: "The Seeker mobile platform has proven the capabilities of the native encrypted mobile community: based on over 100,000 users, thousands of applications have been launched, generating billions of dollars in transaction volume, and the founders were able to find their first customers within just a few days. Now we are delighted to work with Ledger to further advance the Solana Mobile ecosystem, and I look forward to Ledger Atom users experiencing the same magic that Seeker users have enjoyed over the past year or so."

Solana Mobile Continuously Fulfills Promises

When it went live in Saga of 2023, it quickly became a "cult" favorite among the native users of Solana. After the first Solana phone was completely sold out, there were high expectations for its successor. Solana Mobile promised to launch a second, even better phone, and delivered the Seeker; Seeker began shipping in August 2025, and so far, sales have exceeded 200,000 units.

Subsequently, Solana Mobile promised to launch a token that would provide momentum for the economy of Seeker, in order to achieve decentralization of protocol ownership and governance. The company delivered $SKR and launched it in January 2026, with 30% of the total supply allocated to the community, making it one of the largest airdrops of that year.

Next are the commitments regarding hardware expansion. At the 2025 Breakpoint conference, Hollyer announced partnerships with MediaTek, Trustonic, and FXTech. In March 2026, Solana Mobile further opened up Solana Mobile Stack to Android manufacturers at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Seven months later, Solana Mobile also fulfilled this promise, and the partner they collaborated with was one of the most well-known brands in the crypto industry. For Hollyer, securing a partnership with a renowned entity like Ledger marked a crucial step forward for this team, which started with many uncertainties.

"Looking back a few years when we first launched Saga, there were still many aspects that hadn't been verified. Now, with mature partners like Ledger who have been deeply involved in this field for many years, and by leveraging our technology to improve their user experience, it proves that this ecosystem and the community we've built indeed have value."

Hollyer describes Atom and Ledger OS as "another step in the lineage of safer, more isolated safe havens and trusted execution environments," and adds that providing more choices for security-conscious users is always a good thing.
