Arlington, Virginia, October 13th / PRNewswire / -- Air Today, new platform enhancements are released, claiming to be driving "Enterprise Readiness" from intelligence to execution, covering the national security system, and transitioning from static visualization to autonomous, task-driven actions.

Air CEO Tara Murphy Dougherty stated: "The lethality is short-lived; to maintain this capability, companies need to be continuously ready, rather than relying on static indicators. Our latest platform enhancements utilize AI native orchestration to simplify the complex workflows between suppliers and operators, directly connecting factory workshops with frontline combat. By replacing manual processes with agent-based execution, this version helps defense enterprises narrow the readiness gap and maintain a force that is always available and lethal."

Air indicates that the company will showcase these enhanced platform features at today's annual meeting and exhibition of the Army Association of the United States (AUSA) in 2026. A senior leadership client from the U.S. Army will be invited to attend the event. The event will take place from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM today, and the location is Room 147A at Walter E in Washington, D.C. Washington Convention Center.

Readiness Gap

Air states that in modern combat environments, readiness is often treated as a set of indicators that need to be monitored. Once there is a production delay in a manufacturing plant, a manual status report is generated; this is followed by a series of emails, phone calls, and meetings. By the time coordination catches up with the realities on the front lines, combat brigades may have missed critical training opportunities, or troops in deployment may be using equipment that is incapable of performing their tasks.

Air indicates that military leaders have consistently emphasized that the speed at which the United States can deploy to the battlefield is hindered by fragmented data, manual handovers, and information silos that isolate procurement departments from frontline operators. In such an environment, readiness is merely observed, measured, and reported, but rarely implemented in real time.

According to Air, there is currently a significant gap between the needs on the front lines and what enterprises can deliver, which is referred to as the "readiness gap," and this gap is actually widening.

Although the defense system spends nearly $700 million per day to maintain and update a weapons arsenal worth over $1.4 trillion, decision-making delays remain a major constraint. A research report released in August 2026 by the global management consulting firm Oliver Wyman shows that if the entire military could regain an additional 30 "readiness days," it could free up about $20 billion in value each year.

Air indicates that the purpose of the company's existence is to narrow this gap. Its AI native intelligent agent platform Air Enterprise Readiness is aimed at reducing the "readiness gap" and is currently helping organizations that cover the U.S. federal government, allies, partner countries, and industrial bases to achieve continuous enterprise readiness. Air states that national security assets worth over $140 billion are being kept ready on its platform.

The operating mode of Air is to unify the procurement lifecycle – research and development, production, delivery, and support – by considering the readiness state as a continuously executing cycle. By integrating fragmented data into a single, authoritative picture of readiness, Air transforms static, isolated reports into dynamic arrangements, enabling enterprises to identify risks, calculate trade-offs, and implement solutions in real-time before missing critical opportunities.

New platform enhancements

Air indicates that the platform enhancements released today are built upon the aforementioned capabilities, delivering intelligent agent execution directly into the hands of customers to accelerate task results.

When there are delays in production, Air not only presents a risk but also initiates a resolution process. With the new agent enhancement features, Air coordinates the work of various teams by automating key processes, calculating trade-offs, reallocating components to priority units, and dynamically updating training plans. Whether it's identifying the 3D printing capabilities of nearby command posts to bypass supply chain bottlenecks or incorporating static assets into combat commands, Air is driving the enterprise towards an autonomous, task-driven state of action.

Air Chief Product and Technology Officer Andrej Danko stated: "To achieve continuous readiness, we need a AI native system that goes beyond the isolated tools currently available to combat personnel. Air provides an agent platform that drives task outcomes from day one. We are designing this platform to automate complex workflows and ensure that operators can immediately obtain critical insights and take immediate action at every second when it matters most."

Air indicates that this release has introduced a series of advanced capabilities aimed at simplifying the complex work of defense enterprises.

  • User-controllable data activation:Air allows enterprises to bring their own operational realities onto the platform. Users can now securely collect, structure data, and extract entities from their own data sources, and automatically integrate them with the proprietary business data of Air as well as ontologies specifically tailored for industrial needs (including market signals, suppliers, components, contracts, etc., which are often overlooked by internal systems). This comprehensive and integrated view can then be instantly queried and utilized in the platform's decision support layer for orchestration.
  • Process Orchestration:This capability goes beyond individual efficiency and focuses on team-level outcomes. Air The new “Flows” feature allows users to coordinate work across enterprises, ensuring that dependencies between general contractors, project offices, and operators are systematically managed, rather than relying on manual handling.
  • Action-oriented user experience:The new user experience of Air is aimed at driving task outcomes. The platform prioritizes presenting clear action guidelines to help users identify the specific decision points and actions required to advance the tasks.
  • Task-specific Execution Center:These centers will integrate research and development, production, delivery, and support into a coordinated execution system, and package the capabilities of Air into each execution center according to different task areas.

Task Progress: Scenes from the Frontline

Air For example, in the high-risk frontline reality, an upcoming combat deployment relies on the simultaneous equipping and training of a Mobile Brigade Combat Team (MBCT), which combines infantry squads with next-generation mobile anti-drone (UAS) interception systems. These capabilities are managed by different Project Procurement Executives (PAE), but they must function as a single, lethal unit. In traditional modes, tracking cross-project dependencies and resolving progress frictions requires weeks of telephone communications, mass email threads, static slide updates, and disjointed spreadsheets.

According to Air, its platform can completely transform this model at every stage of the lifecycle. Through process orchestration, Air can instantly identify readiness gaps; automate delivery and inventory reallocation processes during production delays; and compress training plans from weeks to just a few minutes to realign them. On the front lines, Air captures raw combat commands, automatically generates brigade-level synchronization matrices, and builds real-time digital twins based on vehicle telemetry. When a component fails in battle, Air identifies local additive manufacturing (3D printing) capabilities to bypass supply bottlenecks within hours. Finally, tactical maintenance data flows back to PAE for automatic fault analysis, closing the feedback loop and optimizing procurement before the next unit goes into combat.

About Air

Air (formerly known as Govini) is a leader in the field of enterprise readiness. Enterprise readiness refers to a new type of AI native system designed to bridge the "readiness gap" – that is, the dangerous chasm between what is required on the front lines and what the national security system can deliver. The Air Enterprise Readiness platform integrates research and development, production, delivery, and support into a cohesive execution system that reveals true capabilities, exposes actual constraints, coordinates key resources, and executes at a pace that meets operational needs. As a result, the national security system possesses everything necessary for success. For more information, please visit www.air.ai.
