Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. (Foxconn) (BJW_KEEP_00003:2317) has been included in Fortune magazine's 2026 list of "Asia's Most Powerful Women" for the second consecutive year.
This reflects that this world's largest electronics manufacturer and AI server provider are undertaking responsibilities that span across the physical industrial world and the field of artificial intelligence.
Yang is currently the General Manager of Global Park Operations at Foxconn and is responsible for the company's AI software and AI infrastructure businesses. She was selected alongside 16 other winners from the technology industry; the technology industry has the highest number of representatives on this year's list, with over 14 individuals making the cut, surpassing the banking industry which had 14 selected individuals.
Charmian Choo, a senior executive of the Fortune Asia rankings, stated: "What is most notable about this year's rankings is how the pattern of economic power in Asia is changing. We see experienced leaders continuing to drive some of the region's largest companies forward, while at the same time, a new generation of talents is also making steady progress. The prominent position of the technology industry is particularly noteworthy: it reflects the growing influence of technology on the Asian economy, as well as the increasingly important role that women are playing in this transformation."
Yang stated, "Women in leadership positions play a vital role in the AI Industrial Revolution. The real challenge lies not in deploying technology, but in reshaping the way we work, investing in retraining, and helping men and women around the world keep pace with these changes." She oversees operations across Foxconn's more than 240 campuses in 24 countries.
She also said, "In five years, the best factories will not just be those with the highest degree of automation, but those where humans, artificial intelligence, and robots can empower each other."
Earlier this year, Yang was also selected for Fortune’s list of the most influential business women of 2026. Her work combines Foxconn’s global manufacturing scale, engineering capabilities, and operational expertise with software, data, computing infrastructure, and artificial intelligence.
Yang previously served as CEO at Foxconn and became the first woman to hold this position. During her tenure, she focused on strengthening strategic execution at the corporate level, coordination between various business departments, and the governance discipline of one of the world's largest and most complex industrial organizations.
She is also a member of the board of directors of Foxconn Industrial Internet ( FII ), as well as the chairman and CEO of a key entity under Foxconn, JUSDA.
