Bethesda, Maryland, October 9th ( PRNewswire ) – Brave Healer Productions CEO Laura Di Franco announced the launch of Gen Brave, which is the 11th installment in its Brave Kids Books business line and also the first book in this series aimed at tween readers.

“Gen Brave” is a collection of short stories created specifically for a generation that is in the process of finding their own voice. The stories revolve around themes such as friendship, identity, sense of belonging, anxiety, sadness, family, confidence, social media, and courage.

The chief editor of this book and the publishing director of this business line, K.J, stated: "‘Gen Brave’ stems from a need—to create stories for those who are often overlooked, namely teenagers who are neither children nor adults. We wanted to create exclusive stories for them, short and concise, that can be read in 15 minutes, allowing them to temporarily escape from technology, social media, and the constant noise of the 21st century, and immerse themselves in a brief story... This story can not only provoke their thoughts but also encourage them to engage in a conversation with a trustworthy adult on related topics."

The authors who contributed to this collection include Dr, Jolene Arasz, Ilene Dillon, Amy G, Dougherty, Rebecca Edwards, Susan L, Ernst, Daniel Gomez, Mindy Green, Margie Cowles Hamner, R., Scott Holmes, Dr, Eyal Levit, David Medansky, Dr, Charleen M, Michel, Michael Overlie, Rev, Dr, Laura Palmer, Stacy Randell - Shaheen, and Rev, Dr, Karen Schuder.

Reviews about " Gen Brave "

Francesca MacDonald, the author of "Whillie : The Cart Who Found His Heart" says: "Gen Brave" is a book aimed at teenagers, but I believe it is equally important for parents as well. There is wisdom everywhere in the book, but there is something even more precious: it invites people to engage in dialogue. These stories provide words for those feelings that are very difficult to name. They remind young people to believe in themselves and also remind adults to listen carefully when they do so. This makes "Gen Brave" not just a collection of stories, but a bridge; I am very grateful that this bridge has been built.

The authors of Guy M, AIF Special Forces, “The Rescue”, and “Full Throttle” state: “Gen Brave has accomplished something surprisingly rare: it does not talk to teenagers from a condescending position. Instead, it weaves difficult themes such as a sense of belonging, bullying, sadness, anxiety, social media, family conflicts, identity formation, failure, courage, and even suicide into truly interesting stories that are also highly educational. Perhaps its greatest achievement is that these stories do not end once the last page is turned; they invite the conversations that every parent wishes to have with teenagers, yet that teenagers sometimes find difficult to initiate, and they remind both generations that courage is not about having no fear, but about finding one’s own voice amidst that fear.”
