Wilmington, Delaware, and Ljubljana, Slovenia, October 8th / PRNewswire / -- Personalized Story Group ( PSG ) announced today that it has acquired Hooray Heroes. This is a mature international personalized book company that has sold over 3 million personalized books to customers worldwide.

PSG indicates that this acquisition is the latest step in its strategy to build a global portfolio of personalized publishing and gift brands, which is supported by shared technology, product development, marketing, and fulfillment infrastructure.

Hooray Heroes will join the existing brand portfolio of PSG, which already includes Story Bug, My Story Tale, and Wall Art Prints. This transaction represents the second brand acquisition for PSG and expands the group's international customer base, publishing catalog, as well as its capabilities in multi-role and family-oriented personalization.

PSG indicates that while continuously investing in its personalized technology platform, the company has achieved triple-digit growth for several years in a row by focusing on customer experience, product quality, and operational efficiency, and has managed to remain profitable without any institutional financial support.

Personalized Story Group CEO Brendon Watson stated: “Hooray Heroes is a widely recognized international brand with a rich catalog of creative content, a loyal customer base, and over a decade of experience in personalized publishing. This acquisition fits perfectly with PSG as it allows Hooray Heroes to leverage our technical, marketing, and operational capabilities while retaining the brand identity and customer proposition that have made it successful.”

Hooray Heroes was established in 2013, with its headquarters located in Slovenia. Its customers span the United States, Europe, and other global markets, and it has developed into one of the most mature independent brands in the personalized book category. Its catalog includes personalized books with illustrations, covering content for children, parents, grandparents, couples, siblings, and pets, suitable for birthdays, holidays, and other important commemorative occasions.

Hooray Heroes, co-founder and former CEO, Rado Daradan stated: "From the very beginning, our goal has been to create a brand that helps families celebrate their most important relationships. PSG understands the dual requirements of personalization in both creativity and business; its technology, operational capabilities, and commitment to preserving the Hooray Heroes brand make it the right owner to support the company's next stage of development."

Hooray Heroes will continue to operate under its current brand name. PSG is expected to migrate the brand to its shared technology and operational platform within two weeks after the transaction is completed, which reflects the group's existing capability to quickly integrate acquired businesses.

PSG will continue to evaluate opportunities for supplementary acquisitions, targeting mature consumer brands that can benefit from its technology, e-commerce, performance marketing, and international fulfillment capabilities.

The transaction terms have not been disclosed.

Why it makes sense for Starbucks to acquire Chipotle, and why it may not necessarily be feasible
According to the Financial Times, Starbucks has been working with consultants in recent months to study options for acquiring Chipotle Mexican Grill. After the news broke, the stock price of Chipotle rose by about 7% during trading, while Starbucks' stock price fell by about 4%. Analysts believe that this transaction presents both opportunities for synergy and international expansion, as well as challenges related to Starbucks' own transformation, the transaction price, and the difficulty of integration.
