Trump's TRUMP token team transferred $249 million in tokens to centralized exchanges, causing the token price to fall by 6%

Wallets related to the TRUMP team have transferred 81.87 million tokens to centralized exchanges, worth approximately $249 million.

The most recent transfer included 11.25 million TRUMP tokens, valued at approximately 26 million US dollars.

After the transfer was completed, it is estimated that the team-related wallet still held 718 million TRUMP tokens.

In the past eight months, wallets associated with the Donald Trump ( TRUMP ) token team have transferred 81.87 million TRUMP tokens to centralized exchanges. These tokens were valued at approximately 249 million US dollars at the time of transfer.

These large-value transfers have raised concerns among investors about potential selling pressure. As a result, the price of the TRUMP token has fallen by 5.8% in the past 24 hours.

$249 million TRUMP token transfer

The on-chain monitoring platform EmberCN indicates that the TRUMP token team transferred the relevant tokens to exchanges such as Binance and OKX at an average price of $3.04. These transfers were completed in batches over several months, rather than all at once.

A total of approximately 81.87 million TRUMP tokens have been sent to major centralized exchanges. The tokens transferred to the exchange wallets can be sold, used for large-scale transactions, or used as collateral.

These transfers also included several large-value transactions. Two weeks ago, EmberCN mentioned that a wallet related to the team transferred 11.25 million TRUMP tokens in one transaction, worth approximately 26 million US dollars. Of these, 3.25 million tokens, valued at 6.9 million US dollars, were directly transferred to OKX.

However, transferring tokens to an exchange does not prove that these tokens have been sold.

The team still holds 718 million TRUMP tokens.

Despite these transfers, the team still controls a large portion of the token supply.

According to the initial token distribution plan, the team received 800 million TRUMP tokens, which accounts for 80% of the total supply of 1 billion tokens. A large portion of this supply is associated with wallets linked to CIC Digital LLC and the Trump Group (The Trump Organization).

After the transfers on the aforementioned exchanges, the team-related wallets still hold approximately 718 million TRUMP. This corresponds to about 71.8% of the total supply, and at the current price, it is valued at around 1.49 billion US dollars.

How do traders view the transfer of TRUMP tokens?

After the latest round of transfers, the TRUMP meme coin fell by 5.8% to around $2.06. Reports indicate that traders remain concerned about it despite the continuous inflow of tokens into centralized exchanges.

It is reported that on average, more than 10.2 million TRUMP tokens are transferred to exchanges each month.

Some traders believe that this continuous inflow may indicate a supply glut, as more tokens could enter the market and increase selling pressure.

According to Coinpedia News, nearly 1 million investors in Donald Trump's official TRUMP meme coin have suffered a total loss of about $3.81 billion. Meanwhile, it is reported that Trump earned over $1.4 billion from his family's cryptocurrency business in 2025.

According to an Associated Press report, nearly 1,400 workers were laid off from the former Navistar truck factory in southwestern Ohio. Some of these workers, who previously supported Trump, stated that they would now support the Democratic Party in the election. The report indicates that this round of layoffs has almost wiped out a year's worth of employment growth in the Dayton area and highlights inflation, the loss of manufacturing jobs, and voter dissatisfaction as key issues in the local political battleground ahead of the November elections.
