October 2, 2026, San Diego / PRNewswire / —— Today at Law-Di-Gras, we are announcing the launch of Case Communications, a unified communication stack designed for Supio Agent. Its purpose is to extend the capabilities of our agents beyond the law firm, enabling communication with clients, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and all other parties involved in a case. Case Communications is built on top of Supio's FirmOS and allows for direct integration of phone calls, text messages, emails, and faxes into the context of a case. This enables Supio Agent to not only understand what has occurred but also to take autonomous next steps, such as calling insurance companies, tracking down healthcare providers, or contacting clients. At the same time, it ensures that lawyers and staff remain informed and in control of the process.
External communication is where most of the progress occurs in the plaintiff's case: collecting information and documents, coordinating next steps, and advancing the work of important cases. Communication with people outside of the law firm accounts for about two-thirds of the workload in a typical law firm, but these tasks are scattered across different systems, making it difficult for the firm to establish a single, context-rich source of facts regarding the details of cases from various communication channels. For the plaintiff's law firm, the value of Case Communications lies not only in integrating communications but also in allowing Supio to take on more mundane tasks, thereby enabling people to focus their energy on making judgments.
Supio indicates that the company can directly connect to the communication systems already in use by law firms. This new capability builds upon Long - Horizon Agents, which was announced by the company in September, extending Supio Agent's capabilities from auxiliary support to task execution by leveraging AI. With the existing context of each case, Case Communications enables Supio to advance case resolution and strive for ideal outcomes.
Supio, the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, stated: "Communication with various parties accounts for a large portion of the workload in plaintiff cases, but it is also where the details related to the case are most likely to be lost. The Case Communications layer not only captures every important detail but also organizes the information in its proper place. It proactively helps the law firm avoid delays and mistakes when performing these tasks, thus allowing the case to progress continuously."
Focusing on long-term case work
By capturing details based on conversations, Supio Agent is not only able to consolidate all case-related communications in one place, but also take action at critical stages of case development, such as making the next important call, tracking essential medical records required to support the case files, or autonomously updating case files. This creates a continuous cycle between information, intelligence, and action. Case Communications enables Supio Agent to:
- Capture and automatic routing: Incoming calls and their transcribed text, text messages—including file photos—as well as emails and faxes, will all be associated with the correct case upon arrival.
- Information Management and Case Alignment: Case Communications will process the incoming information, update contact details and case records, and automatically archive tasks along with their processing instructions. For example, when a case is awaiting customer information, an agent can contact the customer to obtain the missing details and keep the case file up-to-date.
- Automation and Contextual Actions: Based on dialogue analysis, Case Communications can proactively contact via voice, text message, email, or fax to carry out the next best action that does not require human intervention. It can draft authorization requests that meet the requirements of HIPAA, follow up with service providers and customers, and close tasks upon receiving responses, while also reporting back to the team. Supio Agent can handle case work end-to-end, from initiating insurance claims, dealing with calls from insurance companies, to requesting and tracking medical records, while keeping lawyers and staff informed at all times and allowing them to intervene at any moment.
These capabilities extend the long-cycle proxy model to tasks that often require persistence rather than judgment. It can carry out important follow-up tasks through the appropriate communication channels required for case files and continue to work for several days or even weeks, without the need for manual management of each step.
Supio indicates that these are merely the starting points for Case Communications, not the upper limits. The work processes already in place at law firms can serve as templates for best practices, and they can transform the unique operational preferences of each firm into strategic advantages. Case Communications also allows law firms to consistently apply these best practices to every case, thereby raising the standards of the entire portfolio without the need to add additional operational or change management resources.
Launch Agent Simon
Law firms' specific strategies and techniques can be customized to determine not only what to do next, but also how to do it. Agent Simon is such a case; it is a new collaborative project created in conjunction with Simon Law Group. Agent Simon is built around the work processes, strategies, and techniques developed for Simon Law Group, and combines the experience of Bob Simon to provide other law firms with a way to apply this institutional knowledge to their own cases.
This collaboration presents broader opportunities: the valuable professional experience gained by law firms is no longer limited to those who created it. Law firms can continuously improve by applying these strategies, thereby codifying their methods for evaluating cases, preparing testimony, handling documents, and dealing with repetitive situations. It provides a way for law firms to capture and share institutional knowledge, demonstrating how a firm's expertise—in this case, Simon Law Group—can be utilized by other firms to achieve better client outcomes.
The co-founder Simon Law Group, Attorney Share, and Bourbon, along with of and Proof, stated: "For 20 years, I have been developing my own methods for evaluating cases, preparing testimony, and handling documents, and for a long time, all of this existed only in my mind. Agent Simon brought these methods out of my mind and turned them into something that every lawyer can truly use. I will continue to teach it my way of thinking, so it will only become more refined. This is what happens when a law firm stops relying solely on its own internal guidelines and puts them into actual practice. By sharing what we know, the best people will win."
Supio indicates that Agent Simon and Case Communications together represent the next extension of their FirmOS vision. Supio Agent no longer confines AI to drafting, summarizing, or recommending individual tasks; instead, it can adopt best practices from law firms—whether from your own firm or others—and execute and manage long-term work processes that require context, continuity, and coordination across multiple systems and interactions.
For lawyers and employees, this means spending less time on the operational tasks required to advance cases, and thus having more time to devote to tasks that require human judgment. For law firms, this means being able to build stronger cases from the start and take on more work without the need to hire additional staff.
