Nike's first signature shoe Caitlin for Kaitlyn Clark (Caitlin Clark), a star player for the Indiana Fever, was nearly sold out in less than two hours after its release in the United States.

Nike launched Caitlin size 1 at Nike.com at 10 a.m. Eastern Time in the United States. Approximately one hour later, only extra-large sizes of 15 yards or more were left on the website. It is still unclear how much inventory Nike actually released.

This pair of sneakers is also nearly sold out at retailers such as Foot Locker, Champs Sports, and Hibbett.

On reselling websites such as eBay, Caitlin 1 has already been priced at $200 and above.

Nike is releasing this pair of sneakers in a low-profile manner, and the timing of the release coincides with Clark and the Indiana Fever team preparing to face the Aces team at 9 p.m. on Thursday night in Las Vegas for the third game of the playoffs, where the winner takes all.

The adult size of this sneaker is priced at $140. The children's size page displays "coming soon."

There are two color options for this shoe: “Caitlin Blue” and bright yellow.

"This pair of shoes represents a lot of thought and time," Clark said in a press release when Nike released the shoes. "I never imagined that I would own a pair of signature shoes, and now that I do, it feels incredibly special."

Nike signed Clark for the first time in 2022, when she was still a college player at the University of Iowa. In April 2024, she signed a reported eight-year contract worth $28 million.

As this signature shoe makes its debut, Nike will release its financial report for the first quarter after the market closes on Thursday. Over the past 12 months, Nike's stock price has fallen by more than 50%.
