San Antonio, September 30th / PRNewswire / -- Defense Un Token Issuance rns: The company has today received a single-source, unlimited delivery/unlimited quantity (IDIQ) contract from the U.S. Army Contract Command Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), which is applicable to the entire Department of War (DoW). The maximum value of the contract is 350 million dollars. This contract allows any Department of War agency to directly use the software products issued by Defense Un through the Defense Un token issuance (rns), including Unified Defense Stack (UDS), Enterprise, and UDS Fleet.

Defense Un, co-founder and CEO of rns, stated: "This IDIQ contract incorporates our verified UDS platform into the entire Defense Department's contractual framework. We have created UDS for environments where connectivity is not always reliable and where failure cannot be tolerated. This represents a new model for defense procurement: using commercial technology on demand. There is no longer a need to make trade-offs between mission speed and in-depth defense security."

Single award IDIQ allows ordering agencies to issue task orders without the need to re-initiate competition for each individual requirement. Under this contractual mechanism, any War Department agency can procure products issued by Defense Un through a simplified task order process, thereby reducing the time from identifying a need to putting the software into use.

UDS Enterprise provides enhanced runtime and shared network security services, enabling task software to run securely in cloud, local, and tactical edge environments. UDS Fleet offers a single control plane for project offices, facilitating large-scale management and updates of software in distributed work environments. Both products are now available to customers of the Ministry of War.

This contract continues the growth of Defense Un token issuance rns among customers of the U.S. Army and a broader range of defense departments. Existing customers include the U.S. Navy, Air Force, and Space Force, with the software deployed in over 100 mission systems and organizations. Defense Un token issuance rns can also be made available to federal agencies through other procurement channels, including the Department of Homeland Security ( DHS ) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency ( CISA ).

All agencies of the Ministry of War may immediately begin issuing task orders based on this IDIQ.
