This certification, Cyngn, has promoted the establishment of internationally recognized information security controls by SOC in conjunction with Type II.

Mountain View, California, September 30th / PRNewswire / -- Cyngn (Nasdaq ticker: CYN) announced today that the company has obtained ISO / IEC ISO 27001:2022 certification, which is an internationally recognized information security management system standard.

Cyngn indicates that the ISO 27001 certification demonstrates that the company has implemented an information security management system ( ISMS ) that complies with the ISO / IEC 27001:2022 standard requirements. This certification covers the ISMS that supports Cyngn Insight. Cyngn Insight is the company's cloud-based fleet management platform, aimed at deployed autonomous vehicles.

The company stated that this certification represents an important milestone for Cyngn in meeting the security and governance requirements of large enterprise customers. As the deployment of autonomous vehicles increasingly integrates with customer networks, operational systems, and corporate infrastructure, network security and information governance have become core components of the evaluation and procurement processes.

Cyngn CEO Lior Tal stated: "Enterprise customers expect their technology partners to demonstrate that security has been integrated into their operational practices. Obtaining ISO 27001 certification provides our customers with independent verification that we have established systems and control measures to protect information and manage security risks. This also removes another potential barrier as we collaborate with increasingly mature corporate organizations."

ISO 27001 requires organizations to establish, maintain, and continuously improve information security management systems, with control scope including access management, risk assessment, incident response, business continuity, supplier management, data protection, and other areas.

The company stated that as manufacturers and logistics operators implement stricter security reviews for networking technologies in their facilities, this certification will enhance the readiness of Cyngn enterprises. Cyngn also expects to complete the SOC 2 Type II review in October 2026 to further support its deployment among large, security-conscious organizations.
