Servier adopts Veeva OpenData globally for large-scale deployment of AI.

Established a data foundation for AI in over 80 countries

Barcelona, Spain, September 30, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Veeva Systems ( NYSE : VEEV ) Today, it was announced that Servier is standardizing its customer master data using the Veeva OpenData in over 80 countries. Following the success of global adoption of Veeva Link Key People, this French pharmaceutical company, governed by a foundation, is unifying its customer master data and establishing a unified foundation that can be used for large-scale deployment of artificial intelligence ( AI ).

"By centralizing our customer master data through Veeva OpenData, what we are doing is not just improving current processes: we are building a global data foundation for AI, redefining the way we work," said Liam Hanrahan, the Head of Global Operations Excellence at __BJWKEEP__. "A unified global semantic layer, combined with the connectivity capabilities of Veeva Link, provides high-quality insights to our subsidiaries, enabling them to interact with key healthcare professionals in each market, thereby enhancing the efficiency required for the global deployment of AI."

Veeva indicates that with the help of OpenData and Link Key People, Servier is providing interconnected data to its global business and medical teams, thereby facilitating faster decision-making and enabling more timely actions at all levels of the enterprise.

"Due to data-related challenges, 89% of the AI initiatives in the industry failed to achieve scaled deployment," stated Veeva Link and OpenData President Kilian Weiss. "By adopting a data-centric standardized AI approach across all regions, Servier has demonstrated strong leadership in the industry. With OpenData as the foundation for its unified global data infrastructure, Servier is able to implement more efficient business strategies driven by AI."

Veeva OpenData is a part of Veeva Data Cloud, which also includes Veeva Link and Veeva Compass. OpenData unifies global customer master data, breaks down fragmented data silos, and ensures the consistency required for large-scale deployment of advanced AI.
