New York, September 28, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Global fintech company Broadridge (NYSE ticker: BR) and the Korean Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation ( Korea Securities Depository, KSD) announced today the signing of a memorandum of understanding ( MOU ), stating their intention to collaborate on modernizing and upgrading Korea's proxy voting infrastructure.

This collaboration is aimed at supporting the broader strategic goals of KSD, which are to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and global competitiveness of South Korea's capital market, and to promote South Korea's development into a leading capital market ecosystem.

According to this memorandum of understanding, Broadridge and KSD intend to jointly support the establishment of a market operation model in order to achieve:

  • Digitize and automate the end-to-end proxy voting process for international investors holding Korean stocks;
  • Enhance transparency, accuracy, and governance standards in accordance with global best practices; as well as
  • Consolidate South Korea's status as a modern, trustworthy, and globally connected capital market jurisdiction.
