Meta Adjusting the VR product rhythm
Zuckerberg stated that at this stage, Meta will reduce the emphasis on the "metaverse" concept and also decrease the frequency of launching VR devices, only releasing new products when there are clear technological breakthroughs.
He also mentioned that many users have limited interest in head-mounted display (HMD) form factors, therefore Meta has chosen to develop a new type of VR device. In contrast, Apple's Vision Pro has not become a widely popular consumer product to this day due to its larger size, higher weight, and relatively high price. The report states that the current selling price of Vision Pro is around $3700.

Muse Charm Focusing on portability AI Interaction
In addition to the glasses, Zuckerberg also showcased a brand-new device at the end of the press conference: Muse Charm. This is a small handheld terminal that can be hung on a keychain, equipped with an Muse AI assistant based on Meta, and it supports real-time voice mode.
Zuckerberg stated that Meta has currently only produced a small number of early working prototypes, with the goal of launching them before the holiday sales season. According to him, if users are not wearing glasses at that time, this will be the fastest way to interact with Muse and allow AI to perceive the surrounding environment.
The smart glasses product line continues to expand.
At the press conference, Meta also updated several smart glasses products, including the Ray-Ban camera-enabled glasses, the Meta Display glasses with a small display area, as well as the first version of glasses that only provide audio functionality.
Among them, the pure audio glasses will adopt the Clubmaster and Burbank styles of Ray-Ban. Overall, Meta is separating the assistant functions, display capabilities, and wearable form factor of AI into different product lines, covering a variety of usage scenarios ranging from light interactions to immersive experiences.
