The pre-confirmation feature of Jito BAM has been launched on the Solana network through Helius and Triton. This feature provides traders, applications, and search engines with lower-latency trading data, and also adds a new source of income for validators running BAM.
Currently, BAM has covered a network staking scale of approximately $15.95 billion, accounting for 34.1% of the total staking of SOL. The article states that more than half of the Solana validators are running BAM, making it one of the most widely used validator clients in the current Solana ecosystem.
Pre-confirmation of advance transaction information sending
So-called pre-confirmation refers to the process where validators stream out in advance the transactions that the leader node has committed to execute. Essentially, this information provides early feedback on the data that is about to be included in a block, which can help participants who rely on speed to obtain market signals more quickly.
For arbitrageurs and market makers, low-latency trading data directly affects the quality of transactions. Obtaining transaction flow information earlier means having a greater chance to capture price differences and reduce the risk of being impacted by unfavorable order flows.
Revenue is distributed among three parties.
Jito states that the income generated by this service will be distributed in a fixed proportion and paid monthly in the form of a priority fee calculated based on the stake weight.
- The distributor receives 30%.
- Verifiers running BAM receive 35%
- Jito DAO obtained 35%
In addition, BAM Verifier will compare the final block output with the data previously sent. If a validator deviates from the sent content, they may have their network connection disconnected.
Previously, a market-making priority plugin was launched.
Before the pre-confirmation feature was available, Jito launched Maker Priority Plugin ( MPP ) in the second quarter of 2026. The article states that 17 operators have deployed this plugin, including market-making institutions such as BisonFi, Tessera, and SolFi.
Jito Quoting on-chain data, the predictor updates processed through BAM MPP also have a higher success rate during periods when other clients act as leader nodes. At the transaction level, this is reflected in more successful transactions being recorded on the chain, more stable pricing, and more predictable execution results.
Jito also indicates that in the future, MPP will be expanded to more markets, and there are plans to include intra-slot and clock to further address issues with unfavorable order flows.
