Foreign media reports that a new narrative surrounding XRP has recently gained momentum on social media. Commentator Alex Jones claimed in a live interview that XRP has been selected by major global institutions as part of the adjustment to the international monetary system and may see a significant revaluation in a very short period of time.
This statement subsequently attracted attention, but reports pointed out that such judgments have not been publicly confirmed by Ripple, international financial institutions, or regulatory authorities. Based on the information that can be verified so far, the market performance of XRP is still mainly driven by common factors, rather than sudden repricing under some so-called "unified plan."
The term "one-night revaluation" resurfaces
Jones stated in the program that the price trend of XRP would not change gradually like most assets, but might experience a rapid spike within a single trading window. He linked this scenario to the broader reorganization of the global financial system.
However, claims such as " XRP will be suddenly and significantly revalued" have been circulating in some XRP communities for many years. Reports mention that such narratives have not yet been supported by evidence from Ripple, financial regulatory authorities, or the institutions mentioned by name.
The program mentioned the risks of asset integration.
In addition to price judgment, Jones also mentions the so-called “bail-in” risk, stating that governments and regulatory authorities may integrate bank accounts, real estate records, and digital assets into a single ledger system, which leads to concerns that privately held assets could be centrally managed as a result.
In his discussion, he mentioned institutions such as the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the Bank for International Settlements, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, and the European Commission, but did not provide any official policy documents that could prove these institutions are coordinating efforts to confiscate XRP or other private assets.
XRP is still driven by conventional factors
The report also mentioned that Jones cited past public statements by officials from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation of the United States regarding deposit insurance and financial stability, attempting to incorporate them into a broader narrative of asset integration. However, these contents did not constitute any official arrangements targeting XRP.
- Change in the flow of funds for encryption ETF
- Regulatory progress in the United States, including CLARITY Act
- Overall risk appetite and liquidity in the crypto market
The core conclusion of the report is that there is currently no public evidence indicating that XRP is facing a “sudden revaluation” arrangement led by large institutions, nor is there any evidence of a coordinated asset confiscation plan targeting private coin holders.
