Strive once again sends a signal that it may increase its holdings of Bitcoin, and the market's focus shifts to its next disclosure document. The company's chairman and CEO Matt Cole have released a Bitcoin holding tracking page on X, a move that has occurred multiple times before new rounds of Bitcoin buying announcements.

After the latest purchase, the holding position increased to 23,156 coins.

The company disclosed that Strive purchased 1,800 bitcoins between August 24 and August 28, at an average purchase price of $79,431 per coin, with total expenses amounting to approximately $143 million. This transaction was disclosed through an 8-K filing submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

After the transaction was completed, Strive's Bitcoin holdings increased from 21,356 to 23,156 coins. According to BitcoinTreasuries.net, this company is currently ranked as the fifth largest listed company holder of Bitcoin globally, following Strategy, Twenty One Capital, Metaplanet, and MARA Holdings.

A total expenditure of approximately $224.5 million was incurred on two rounds of coin purchases.

This is not the only recent increase in holdings by Strive. Just a week ago, the company purchased 1,110 bitcoins for approximately $81.5 million, at an average price of $73,409 per coin. Over the two disclosure periods, Strive has bought a total of 2,910 bitcoins, with a total expenditure of about $224.5 million.

At the time of the latest transaction disclosure, the price of Bitcoin was around $76,400, corresponding to a market value of the company's holdings of approximately $1.77 billion. However, Strive did not disclose the comprehensive holding cost of all its Bitcoin reserves in the documents; therefore, the overall book value will still fluctuate with changes in the coin price.

Management continues to bet on expanding capacity within the year

Matt Cole previously stated that Strive may still buy more than 20,000 bitcoins this year and aims to become the second-largest corporate bitcoin holder after Strategy by the end of the year. Although a new round of purchases has not been officially confirmed yet, management has recently been sending out relatively positive signals.

In August, he also stated that even if Bitcoin might experience a pullback after a rapid rise, the company is still willing to continue increasing its exposure. Market data cited in the article shows that Bitcoin has rebounded from around $63,000 to nearly $82,000, which has also driven up the market value of the company's holdings of Bitcoin and the related stocks.

ASST reaches a new high for the year, SATA attracts attention

As of press time, Strive common shares ASST have surpassed $27, reaching a new high for the year. Since the beginning of 2026, the stock has risen by more than 78%, with a nearly 120% increase in the past month, making it the strongest performer among the top ten Bitcoin wealth management companies listed in this article during the same period.

Another financing instrument that has attracted attention is Strive's preferred securities, SATA. In late August, it was estimated that if SATA traded at or above a par value of $100, the company could theoretically obtain a potential financing capacity equivalent to approximately 1,192 bitcoins within a week. However, this does not mean that the company has already completed the issuance or purchase of the corresponding number of bitcoins.

Additional information:The company disclosed that in the second quarter of Strive, it incurred a net loss of $257.6 million based on the GAAP accounting standard. Of this, approximately $234 million was related to the decline in the fair value of its Bitcoin holdings and the STRC positions in Strategy. As of August 7, the company held $154.9 million in cash and about $48 million in STRC preferred stock, with no short-term or long-term debts.
