Meme trading on the Solana blockchain has seen a significant increase recently, with related transactions accounting for a nearly one-year high in the network's total DEX volume. Data shows that memes accounted for 29% of Solana's weekly DEX trading volume last week, and the proportion rose to 42% on a single day at the weekend, indicating a resurgence of speculative trading activity.
Weekends accounted for 42%.
According to reports, Solana's total DEX trading volume last week was approximately $9.8 billion, of which meme trading accounted for about $2.8 billion. This marks the first time since August 2025 that meme's weekly trading volume has returned to this level.
The hype intensified over the weekend. On July 25, memes accounted for 42% of Solana's daily DEX trading volume; on July 26, this proportion remained at 37%. Structurally, Solana continues to maintain its active position in high-volatility token trading.
pump.fun revenue continues to rise
As a key platform for the issuance and trading of Solana memecoin, pump.fun remains one of the most active launchpads. In the past 24 hours, the platform processed $92.4 million in transactions, generating $1.17 million in revenue.
Over the past 7 days, pump.fun has generated $7.78 million in revenue, maintaining a daily average of over $1 million. Its cumulative historical revenue has now exceeded $1.3 billion, reflecting the platform's continued leading position in the memecoin issuance market.

The report also mentioned that pump.fun's revenue in the past 24 hours was about 75% higher than Hyperliquid's, which earned $667,900 during the same period.

Both new and old tokens are active.
The platform's increased activity has also driven both new and established tokens to strengthen. pump.fun's weekly "graduation rate" rose to 3.71%, the highest level this year. This means that more newly issued tokens have reached the liquidity threshold and are able to enter the next stage of trading.
In terms of token performance, $PUMP rose 18% in the past 24 hours, ranking among the top gainers in the top 100 digital assets by market capitalization during the same period. Meanwhile, Solana's meme coin $EPIK, launched in April 2024, surged over 2500% in the past 24 hours, with its market capitalization briefly approaching $27 million, and currently estimated at around $9 million.
The newly issued tokens also experienced significant volatility. $CATE's market capitalization surged by over 20,000% in the past 24 hours, briefly exceeding $10.7 million, before falling back to approximately $6 million.
Overall, the rebound in meme trading volume, the increase in launchpad revenue, and the simultaneous increase in trading volume for both new and old tokens indicate that high-risk trading activity on the Solana chain has heated up again after slowing down earlier this year.
