Jupiter has entered the Solana on-chain collectibles market. The platform launched Gacha on July 13th, allowing users to purchase and open packs within the app to obtain certified and graded cards corresponding to physical collectibles. The initial offerings include Pokémon and One Piece cards.

This product is powered by the Solana trading card platform Collector Crypt. Jupiter's direct integration of it into its front end signifies that its product line, originally focused on trading aggregation, is beginning to extend into on-chain consumer collectible scenarios.

$3.29 million in sales within 22 hours of listing.

According to Dune data, within 22 hours of Gacha's launch, the Jupiter front end completed 31,570 pack openings, generating approximately $3.29 million in sales.

In the first hour after the product launch, the transaction volume was approximately US$147,000, with a peak of US$471,000 in a single hour. Initially, the average hourly transaction volume was approximately US$220,000, and the average number of packages opened per hour was approximately 1,900.

In terms of price range, the $50 packs were opened the most, with a total of 18,178 purchases; however, the $2,500 packs contributed the most to revenue, with 340 packs opened and generating approximately $850,000 in sales, indicating that high-priced users were more concentrated in this category.

Rewards program launched simultaneously

Jupiter is also launching a rewards season called "Gacha: Season One," which will run from July 13 to August 10, lasting 28 days.

As part of the event, the platform will offer free card packs worth a total of $100,000. Users can obtain these free packs through BattlePass progress, and the platform has also created a leaderboard ranking players based on total pack spending. The top 100 collectors will share this season's prize pool; specific allocation details will be announced later.

Collector Crypt drives increased trading volume in the sector.

Jupiter's launch coincides with the rapid growth of the on-chain card pack market. Blockworks data shows that on-chain gacha spending rose to $324.6 million in June, setting a new record.

Among them, Collector Crypt has ranked among the top in this track for the third consecutive month, with a transaction volume of over $209.5 million in June, a 107% increase from the previous month, accounting for nearly 65% of the total on-chain gacha transaction volume that month.

A direct driver of the growth was the platform's launch of the $2,500 Pokémon card pack on June 10. This high-priced product generated $82.9 million in sales by the end of June, accounting for approximately 40% of Collector Crypt's sales that month.

The article mentions that high-priced card packs attract more attention from some collectors because they contain cards that are relatively scarce on the platform; in contrast, cards in low-priced card packs are easier to obtain on the secondary market. As the market for physical cards and sports cards continues to be active, the demand for on-chain collectibles is also expanding in tandem.
