"The Blue Wave" triggers rotation in Asian stock sectors; chip stocks decline while auto stocks strengthen

According to CoinMeta, the Democratic Party's complete victory in both houses of the U.S. Congress has led to a rotation of sectors in Asian stock markets. On Thursday, storage chip giant SK Hynix fell by over 9%, and Samsung Electronics dropped by 7%, dragging down South Korea's KOSPI index by more than 5%. Meanwhile, car manufacturers such as Toyota Motor and Honda Motor saw their stock prices rise by about 5%, driving Japan's Tosei Index up by 1%. The stock prices of other consumer companies, including Uniqlo's parent company Fast Retailing Group, also strengthened. As the Democratic Party uses voters' concerns about artificial intelligence to gain support in the midterms, concerns about possible delays in data center construction are growing. Tim Walter, chief market analyst at KCM Trade, said: "We see a continuous outflow of funds from the chip manufacturer sector, and the rotation trend is very clear. The market is punishing those areas that are most vulnerable to potential regulatory obstacles, and the semiconductor industry is one of them."
