According to CoinMeta, Sheldon Xia, the founder of Bitmart, stated that the company's security team is currently facing a severe shortage of personnel. Threats to employees and retaliation from former staff have made it difficult to retain technical personnel, yet the team continues to work on protecting data and assets. Bitquery has identified transfers totaling approximately $391,000 that are suspected to come from wallets related to Bitmart. These transfers involve three different blockchains, and the funds have flowed into a wallet associated with the Mercado Bitcoin attack incident.
