According to CoinMeta, Tether has released its Tether Gold ( XAUT ) third-quarter reserve report. As of September 30th, XAUT's physical gold reserves reached 25.7 tons, a 59% increase from the end of 2025, with a market value of approximately $3.44 billion. The XAUT circulation is 827,418 coins, of which about 709,000 have been sold, with around 118,000 still available for sale. The aforementioned gold is stored in Switzerland and meets the qualified delivery standards of the London Gold and Silver Market Association ( LBMA ). There are a total of 2,057 12.5-kilogram gold bars, with 766 additional bars added this year.
