According to CoinMeta, with the Democrats "sweeping" both chambers of Congress and the impact of October's "better-than-expected" non-farm payroll data, the three major U.S. stock indices opened higher collectively. The Nasdaq rose 1.11%, the S&P 500 index rose 1.15%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.91%. Apple's shares soared by more than 3%, as its smart devices were made available for testing in mainland China with the latest iOS developer Beta version. Novo Nordisk's shares rose by more than 6% due to Q3 earnings exceeding expectations, and the company raised its full-year guidance for the third time this year. Tesla and SpaceX both fell by more than 4%, as the market worries that Democratic control of Congress may be unfavorable for Musk's companies.
