Swiss UBS: Concerns about US debt will support gold and silver in the long term; maintains a bullish stance on gold

According to CoinMeta, an analyst from UBS Switzerland named Carsten Menke stated that the results of the mid-term elections in the United States are unlikely to change the fundamental outlook for gold and silver. He noted that although gold prices have risen, reflecting a weakening dollar and a slight decline in U.S. Treasury yields, precious metals are generally not very sensitive to political factors. In the long term, UBS Switzerland remains optimistic about the prospects for precious metals, as concerns regarding the scale of U.S. debt and the resulting interest burden will continue to support gold and silver. The private bank maintains a bullish stance on gold and holds a neutral view on silver.
