The GEM index rose by 6%, and the Sci-Tech Innovation 50 index even exceeded 10% at the end of the session. By the close of trading, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 2.16%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 4.22%, and the GEM index rose by 6.4%. Over 4,600 individual stocks across the market were higher, with sectors such as precious metals and computing hardware experiencing a collective surge in the afternoon, while new energy sectors like wind power and photovoltaics also performed brightly.
