According to CoinMeta, AMD ( AMD.O ) achieved revenue of $13.38 billion in Q3 2026, a year-on-year increase of 45%, exceeding the market's forecast of $13.09 billion. The adjusted earnings per share were $2.09, which surpassed the expected $1.95. Revenue from data centers nearly doubled to $8.5 billion, accounting for 64% of total revenue, up from 47% in the same period last year, mainly driven by the growing demand for AI processors. CEO Su Zifeng stated that the demand for data center processors is expected to accelerate further, and the company is capable of meeting the demand for AI chips. AMD expects Q4 revenue to be around $17 billion, higher than the market's forecast of $16.2 to $16.3 billion, but the gross margin guidance is 55%, lower than the market's expectation of 55.3%. Affected by tight supply and rising prices of memory chips, PC faced continued pressure in the market, with personal computer and gaming business revenue declining by 8% to $3.7 billion, of which gaming revenue dropped by 40%. After the financial report was released, AMD shares rose more than 9% after the close, and this also drove up chip stocks such as NVIDIA and SK Hynix.
