According to CoinMeta, and based on information from the Latvian Parliament's website, the government led by Latvian Prime Minister Andris Kurbegs resigned collectively on November 3rd, beginning to perform the duties of a caretaker government until a new government is established. On the same day, the 15th session of the Latvian Parliament held its first meeting, where 100 newly elected members of parliament took an oath of office. Subsequently, the parliament elected a new presidium. The last item on the agenda was the cabinet submitting its resignation report. According to Latvian law, when the new parliament holds its first meeting, the previous government is considered to have resigned and continues to perform its duties until the new government passes a vote of confidence from the parliament.
