Five partners commit to providing over $1 billion in liquidity for the stablecoin OUSD

According to CoinMeta, the stablecoin OUSD ( OpenUSD ), jointly initiated by Stripe, Visa, Mastercard, Coinbase, and Shopify, will charge a management fee of 0.1 basis points (0.001%) based on the payment amount, with a maximum fee of $0.01 per transaction. The fees will be owned by the operator Open Standard. The five initial partners have committed to providing over $1 billion in liquidity during the early stages. Unlike the issuers of USDT and USDC, which retain the interest from reserve assets, OUSD plans to distribute the reserve earnings after deducting the management fees to the partners, and to allocate annual equity incentive quotas based on each party's monthly holding volume of OUSD and trading volume. The participation threshold is $50 million, and a single partner can obtain a maximum equity stake of 5% through warrants.
