According to CoinMeta, Aztec has launched an upgrade to Tierra (which includes alpha and v6), fixing security vulnerabilities in the v5 version and introducing a new AI security testing system. This upgrade has doubled the speed at which privacy transaction proofs are generated and reduced the time it takes for Ethereum messages to be transmitted to the Aztec network to as fast as 12 seconds. Currently, the Aztec network has over 3,000 validators and does not use a centralized sorter or privileged keys for viewing information. (Source: The Block)
