Premia Labs: Option Vault Attacked, Losses Exceed $400,000
2026-11-02 17:49:21
According to CoinMeta, the options vault of Premia Labs was attacked on November 1st, resulting in losses of over $400,000. The attackers utilized lightning loans to create an empty options pool and triggered the vault to lock up the collateral, then extracted the collateral through the liquidity mechanism. The root cause of this incident lies in the fact that Premia V3 divided options trading into two layers: an options pool and an underwriting vault. The latter used assets deposited by users as collateral to write options and charged a premium for them.
