Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi Reveals a "Two-Day Plan"
2026-11-02 04:33:09
According to CoinMeta, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stated in a media interview that the Iranian delegation's visit to Qatar is a continuation of ongoing communications with mediators such as Qatar and Pakistan. The proposals currently on the table are basically the same as Iran's previous "seven-day plan." Zarif mentioned that one of the suggestions put forward by Qatar is to shorten the seven-day period to five days or even less. Iran agrees to a "two-day plan," under which on the first day the United States would take a series of measures to fulfill its obligations, and on the second day, the Strait of Hormuz would be opened, with traffic in the strait returning to its previous state. Zarif pointed out that as long as the United States complies with this two-day plan, it could pave the way for peace and restore normality to the Strait of Hormuz. The conditions that Iran has set for the United States to fulfill include: establishing new shipping routes through the Strait of Hormuz, unfreezing Iranian funds, ending regional wars, lifting maritime blockades, granting Iran exemptions from oil exports, and removing new sanctions.
