According to CoinMeta, Threshold Network announced that, as a preventive measure during the security maintenance period, new BTC deposits, TBTC minting, and new Bitcoin redemption requests through the Threshold application have been temporarily halted. Redemption requests that are still in process may still be completed on the Bitcoin network, but the final settlement on Ethereum has been paused, and some transactions may be delayed. Officials remind users not to send BTC to the previously generated deposit addresses, nor to initiate new deposits, minting, or redemption operations through other interfaces. Users who have already deposited BTC should retain their deposit vouchers and transaction hashes and avoid repeating transactions. This pause does not affect the holding, transferring, and use of TBTC. The resumption time will be announced separately.
