According to CoinMeta, Huang Fengda, a technical expert from Alibaba, announced his resignation on October 28th, stating that it is very difficult to succeed in developing a product at Alibaba, where technology is just one part of the challenges. Huang Fengda had worked at ThoughtWorks for over a decade and participated in multiple open-source projects. After joining Qoder in May this year, he was mainly responsible for the architectural design of agentic based on canvas as well as the construction of the agent plugin ecosystem. His resignation coincides with Alibaba's adjustment of its product line; in August, Chen Xin, who was in charge of the product technology for the Tongyi Lingma project, also resigned. In September, Qoder revealed that its annual recurring revenue had reached $100 million, but Alibaba Cloud announced the gradual closure of QoderWork and directed users to Qoder desktop version and Qianwen Office. Users transitioning to the latter platform will need to re-register, and their existing points and benefits will not be directly transferable.
