According to CoinMeta, OpenAI recently announced that its package quota would be doubled. Subsequently, it was revealed that starting from December, ChatGPT and Codex would share the same package usage quota. Tibor Blaho, who often reveals updates about AI products, noticed that there were new prompts on the subscription checkout page of the ChatGPT web version. Users also observed a prompt suggesting the integration of chat and work features. Tibor clarified that the team indeed plans to integrate these two functions, but it has not been officially launched yet. It now seems that OpenAI is not only preparing to unify the entry points for chat and work but may also adjust the way the quotas are calculated. In fact, Claude has always done this, so it's surprising that ChatGPT has finally followed suit. However, just as OpenAI announced that the quotas for packages like Pro would be doubled, this new, unannounced rule was uncovered, which seems to indicate a rather inconsistent approach.
