According to CoinMeta, on October 28th, the official website of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) announced that IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva declared that Vice Managing Director Li Bo would step down at the end of his term on November 30, 2026. It was also proposed that Liao Min, the current Vice Minister of Finance of China, would take over as Vice Managing Director, with the appointment taking effect from December 1, 2026.
