According to CoinMeta, Verda Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on stablecoin infrastructure, founder Alex Witt announced that he and partner Amit will join Tether, the world's largest stablecoin issuer. Tether was previously one of the limited partners of Verda Ventures. With the addition of these two individuals to Tether, Verda Ventures, which has been in operation for three years, will enter a phase of investment recovery. It will cease investing in new companies to avoid potential conflicts of interest, but will still manage and support the existing 28 portfolio companies and selectively participate in subsequent financings.
