According to CoinMeta, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong stated that with the help of stablecoins and x402, businesses can accept micropayments based on usage, thereby reducing friction during checkout. He gave an example: users should not need to subscribe monthly to read an article; their agents can directly obtain the article for them and pay a fee to the business for it.
