According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, Marvell ($MRVL) is in advanced negotiations with Lumentum ($LITE) to acquire the latter. Lumentum primarily produces optical components for artificial intelligence data centers, with a current market value of about $83 billion, while Marvell has a market value of around $221 billion. The deal could be announced next week.
