According to CoinMeta, the official website of the U.S. Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation DTCC indicates that its securities tokenization service (tokenization service) has been officially launched. The first batch supports the tokenization of 34 types of securities, including some large components of the Russell 1000 index, ETF, and U.S. Treasury bonds. The tokens are backed 1:1 by the underlying securities held by the American Depository Trust Company (DTC), and they enjoy the same legal and ownership rights. They also support 24/7 on-chain transfers between wallets registered on DTC. This service initially supports private networks built on Besu such as Canton Network and DTCC; Stellar and Circle under Besu are expected to be integrated in 2027.
