Tencent Cloud Disk Beta Test: Integrating Multiple AI Agent, 1TB of Storage Shared Across Products
2026-10-28 17:16:21
According to CoinMeta, Tencent is conducting internal testing on a new version of its "Tencent Cloud Disk." This time, they do not intend to compete with Baidu Cloud Disk in terms of storage capacity but rather aim to create a shared database that multiple users can utilize. This will allow different individuals to access the same set of files and continue their previous work. Tests have shown that Tencent Cloud Disk already supports integration with Tencent Documents and provides options for connecting with third-party services such as openclaw, deepseek, and harness. The official Tencent website lists features such as cross-application searching and the ability to access cloud disk files through CLI and MCP. The free space available in this internal test version is 5GB, and by enabling buddy, one, and VIP, users can obtain 1TB of shared space. ByteDance is also working on a similar product, attempting to enable different teams to share cloud work directories. Both companies are transforming their cloud disks from mere file repositories into shared workspaces that can be directly read and written from.
