According to CoinMeta, SK Hynix has announced a shareholder return plan worth 100 trillion Korean won (approximately $75 billion), and it is expected that the shortage of memory chip supply will continue until 2030. The company reported that its quarterly operating profit as of September reached 83.3 trillion Korean won (expected to be 76.7 trillion Korean won), with revenue rising to 104.6 trillion Korean won (expected to be 98.3 trillion Korean won), both figures setting new record highs for a single quarter. Driven by the tight supply, the company's operating margin remains at a historical high. The company analyzes that in the short term, the application of artificial intelligence by businesses and consumers will drive demand for storage, while in the medium to long term, physical applications of artificial intelligence such as autonomous driving and robotics will become the driving force behind demand growth.
