Ledger Confirms Supply Chain Hardware Tampering Attack Against Cryptobilis
2026-10-13 14:54:58
According to CoinMeta, the security team Ledger Donjon under the hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger has issued a statement officially confirming a supply chain hardware tampering attack targeting Southeast Asian distributors Cryptobilis. Ledger emphasized that all confirmed cases of theft only involve devices sold by Cryptobilis; no abnormalities have been observed in other channels. Additionally, the high loss figures circulating online are third-party estimates and have not been fully verified by the official authorities. The official warning is that users who purchased devices through Cryptobilis but have not yet initialized them should not turn on their devices; those who have already set them up need to immediately transfer their assets to a new mnemonic wallet.
