Yuga Labs Executive: The Blur team has been disbanded, users should immediately revoke their NFT authorization
2026-10-13 08:27:09
According to CoinMeta, Quit, the vice president of Yuga Labs blockchain, stated that the Blur team announced its dissolution and the abandonment of the front-end. Although no vulnerabilities were found in the existing contracts, the Blur contracts are upgradable and there is a risk that they could be modified into malicious ones. Currently, there are still NFT assets worth tens of millions of dollars authorized to the Blur contracts, and their security depends on the disbanded Blur team. Quit recommends that users immediately revoke their authorization for Blur using tools such as revoke.cash. The Blur market will abandon the front-end on November 12th, and Blend will stop matching new loans.
