According to CoinMeta, Intel CEO Lip Bu Tan stated on a forum in Singapore that he supports China's open-weight AI model, calling it “good enough.” He particularly praised three Chinese AI laboratories, DeepSeek, Kimi, and GLM, believing that these models have greater cost-effectiveness, and the market will determine which one is suitable. Tan also predicted that quantum computing will become mainstream within three to five years. Five weeks prior to this statement, the U.S. government accused these three laboratories of intellectual property theft.
