According to CoinMeta, as reported by Business Insider, calendar phishing scams on work calendars are on the rise, with many employees receiving phishing invitations through their calendars. According to a study, calendar attacks in August increased tenfold compared to July. Cybersecurity experts say that calendars provide attackers with a greater advantage than traditional methods, and AI is helping to make these scams more believable. The goal of most calendar scams is to lure victims into visiting phishing websites or to carry out social engineering attacks in order to obtain sensitive information.
