According to CoinMeta, and as reported by The Jerusalem Post, the Turkish prosecution has accused a transnational investment fraud network managed by Israeli citizens of defrauding over $3 billion from victims around the world. The report indicates that among the initial 191 suspects arrested were 9 Israeli citizens. The network is alleged to have used platform names such as inefex, quantum, ai, algo, education, and exentral-int to attract investors, and changed these platform names after an increase in complaints. Investigators stated that the funds invested by the victims were not actually used for investments but instead flowed into overseas bank accounts and cryptocurrency wallets controlled by the network.
