Grayscale plans to split Zcash ETF in a 3:1 ratio, with assets exceeding 500 million US dollars
2026-09-18 20:57:48
According to CoinMeta, Grayscale announced that its Zcash ETF ( ZCSH ) will undergo a 3:1 split on September 30, 2026. This move comes less than five weeks after its initial public offering on NYSE Arca, amid rapid asset growth and the launch of an options market. On September 28, 2026, shareholders will receive two additional shares for each share of ZCSH they hold. The split will triple the number of shares held, while the value per share will correspondingly decrease. The split will not increase the actual supply of Zcash, nor will investors' proportional ownership change due to the change in the number of shares. Since the fund's listing on August 25, its asset management scale has exceeded $500 million within two weeks, and options trading also began on the same day.
