According to CoinMeta, Ethereum developers have confirmed the upgrade date for Glamsterdam, and warned malicious actors from using the free testnet Ether to interfere with the operation of the main chain. The free testnet Ether allows fraudulent builders to outbid their competitors and retain transaction loads; the client team only has half the usual review time before the Sepolia upgrade.
